Artist a day! WILLIAM HOGARTH (1697-1764)   William Hogarth was an English artist. He explored painting, printmaking, pictorial satirist. He was also a social critic and editorial cartoonist.

Hoggarth's Works

Hogarth was born in 1697. His attraction to the theatricality of urban dynamism and his fixation with illustrating the low-life slums of the time have given him the term 'Hogarthian' to indicate equal satirists. He dramatized both the sensuality and marvel of London.
