The Fear and Procrastination as an Artist 

One of the biggest worries for artists is that their work will not be as good enough or published - which is an all too common concern.

Even if, for example, you are afraid that your writing or painting might not stand out among other things, you don’t have to worry about being misunderstood or not having an audience.

This is probably a problem for many people who have creative projects they would like to take on.

They are constantly distracted by their fears and opinions of others, which prevents them from moving into action.

They may be too caught up in their thoughts to notice that the way their mind works is the same as everyone else's.

They should allow for contemplation and focus on what it is about themselves that makes them uniquely human.

Notice when these thoughts come up for you. Noticing their presence should allow you to be more intentional about how to address them and figure out what your next best step is.

The critical thing here is to be mindful of them without letting them get the best of you.

If you find yourself feeling negative and have a thought where you feel like your life is never getting any better, then this negativity can lead to self-destructive behavior.

If you struggle with negativity, sometimes the best way to improve your mood is to take action.
