SALVADOR DALÍ

Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dalí i Domènech, known simply as Salvador Dali. Dali was born in Figueres, Catalonia, Spain.
He was a Spanish surrealist artist famous for technical mastery, careful draftsmanship, and unique and strange paintings. Dalí received his formal education in fine arts in Madrid, Spain.

Dalí was a reader of Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theories. His significant contribution to the Surrealist movement was the "paranoiac-critical method," a cognitive activity of accessing the subconscious to improve artistic imagination.
