He devoted a remarkable impact on the evolution of Western art. Known also as an ambitious architect - he completed the Palazzo Farnese in Rome and designed the plans for the Piazza del Campidoglio.

Michelangelo worked on the Sistine Chapel, where he painted the ceiling of the building with the iconic "The Creation of Adam" and the altar wall "The Last Judgment," a colossal creation in which Michelangelo produced a universe of mighty titans, formed by almost sculptural volumes.
Michelangelo may be the most influential artist of all time.
