He was a religious painter and also a mystical painter.
He created the beauty and eroticism of the 'Maja Desnuda' the explicit terror of 'The Third of May, 1808' in the Museo del Prado, Madrid.
He was an oil painter. However, he also explored fresco and engraving in printmaking. He was constantly evolving.
